Danger lurking just beneath the surface of mundane life is the central theme uniting this evening of surreal shorts inspired by the work of H.P. Lovcraft. Undertoe Tales will draw you in and pull you under! A collection of stories spun from the sense that ordinary life is a thin shell over a reality that is so alien and abstract, that merely contemplating it would threaten the sanity of the ordinary person. For those who scratch the surface and discover what lies beneath, the dangers are far more sinister. That which we most fear, might be closer to the surface of ordinary life than we ever dared imagine; perhaps right under foot. Wild Hare Circus is a fledgling collective of performing artists who use an innovative blend of theatre traditions, puppetry, mask work, dance and music, to create original, thought-provoking performances. Wild Hare Circus recognizes the value in creating compelling theatre that is driven by thought-provoking stories.
